BONITA SPRINGS, FL – November 17, 2016: Empowered Global, Inc., a family owned and operated electrical contracting business located in Bonita Springs, has brought the Twisted Tangle up to national electrical code. The eighty-year-old historic restaurant building located next to the Everglades Wonder Gardens has been vacant for over 8 years until Twisted Tangle opened it recently.
Earlier this year, the challenging project began. Restoring electricity in such an old building was quite the task but Empowered Global was up to the project. The building was upgraded from a 200-amp service to a 400-amp service. Over half of the building was rewired to bring everything up to current electrical code.
“It was a challenge. Once we were awarded the project we noticed that there was a lot of wiring in the building that was damaged. There were many things that were not up to electrical code. The challenge was definitely there,” stated Daniel Husty, President of Empowered Global.
“We are just so glad Alisha Rhodes, the owner of the Twisted Tangle gave us the opportunity to do this job. It has been such a joy working with her and her husband, Scott Rhodes, and finishing our first historic building. As Alisha always says, ‘this is vintage’.”
